Hello from China

Well, hello from China! My travels here were very peaceful, even though I had a few bumps along the way - missed flight and lost baggage. It's amazing how much you learn when traveling to a country you've never been, while knowing absolutely nothing about the culture or the language. I have definitely gained a deeper trust in the Father. He is so caring and watches over our coming and going.

I, now, can't believe I've been in China for a week! I love it so much here. The people are so hospitable and kind. Working at the Hidden Treasures Home has been such a wonderful experience. Love just flows so freely through every hallway and room. The children have definitely found a special, special place in my heart. My hands may be sore from holding them. I may have scratches from being bitten and pinched, and my clothes may reek of urine, but my heart is just overflowing. I've never felt closer to the Father's heart. I can see His delight over each child, and it's the most beautiful thing to witness.

Also, while being here, I've gotten to live with some incredible girls from all over the world - Canada, Australia, China and the States! They all have such hearts of gold, and i've learned so much from them. What an honor to meet new people, all while serving and loving together as a family.
